1st Annual CFEC Charities
Chili Cook-Off

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Chili Cook-Off (the "Event") hosted by Central Florida East Coast Charities, Inc. ("CFEC Charities," "we," or "us"), I, the undersigned participant, on behalf of myself and any team members or guests I bring, agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk. I understand that cooking and food preparation activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, cuts, slips, falls, foodborne illness, and exposure to open flame or hot equipment. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation in the Event.
2. Release of Liability. I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue CFEC Charities, its officers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, and Space Coast Harley-Davidson as the owner of the event venue, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the Event.
3. Food Safety Acknowledgment. I confirm that all ingredients used are fit for human consumption, that I have followed safe food handling practices, and that I will disclose any known allergens to Event staff prior to judging or public sampling.
4. Media Release. I grant CFEC Charities permission to photograph and/or video record me and my team during the Event and to use such images for promotional and charitable purposes without compensation.
5. Rules Compliance. I agree to comply with all Event rules, judging procedures, and instructions given by CFEC Charities staff and volunteers, and understand that failure to do so may result in disqualification without refund of entry fee.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
